Dawg Nation Hockey - Time to Give Back

As many of you know Dawg Nation is an awesome group and is run by Marty "Cappy" Richardson.  Dawg Nation is a charitable group that supports the hockey community in Colorado by raising money and donating to those experiencing injury, illness, or grief.  Referees have benefited greatly from donations by Dawg Nation.  The Gary Pedigo family, Jon Rausch, and Dan Hohenstein are a few examples from the referee community who have benefitted and you can see the generous donation amounts, plus other terrific stories, on the website.  Dawg Nation is also a huge supporter of our sled (disabled) hockey community.

Marty Richardson's brother, Nigel Richardson, is a hockey player and major contributor to Dawg Nation.  Recently, Nigel had several heart attacks before having emergency heart transplant surgery and obviously has a long recovery ahead.  The medical costs for this are very high.

After all the Dawg Nation has done for the referee community I am asking you to please donate to Nigel's recovery, which you can do on the Dawg Nation Hockey website.  Any amount will help and this will not only assist Nigel but also "pay it forward" as you can count on Dawg Nation helping the referee community again in the future.

There are four offices open for the year July 1, 2021, to June 30, 2022:  Second Vice President (open), Secretary (Andrew O’Donnell), and two Member-at-Large (Jamie Alary and Derek Vandenberg) positions. The Second Vice President office is a four-year term moving in succession to First Vice President, President and Past President. Secretary and the Member-at-Large positions are two-year terms. Celebrating Gary "Senior" Pedigo with a round of golf, some drinks and a good time

Come out and celebrate the life and legacy of Gary "Senior" Pedigo. We all loved him and miss him. His smile and laugh were infectious. So let's celebrate the good times and memories at the course he loved to play. This year's golf tournament will be held on Friday, July 23, 2021 at Walnut Creek Golf Preserve located 10555 Westmoor Dr, Westminster, CO 80021. The shotgun start time will be at 8:30 am. Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment OK's CAHA Hockey return to play immediately

CAHA has been working with the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) over the past several weeks.  We are very pleased to announce that CAHA has affirmed and signed off on new CDPHE guidelines that will permit all CAHA sanctioned activities to resume immediately including full practices and competition. All CAHA members are expected to continue comply with all health guidelines from the CDC, CDPHE, CAHA and local health departments. If you have questions regarding resumption in play, please contact your local Hockey Director for further guidance.
