Since the nomination for Second Vice President filled the open office, the election will take place for Secretary and Member-at-Large. Candidate statements for all offices can be found on the CIHRA website here.

Below is the remaining timeline for the elections
June 8 – commencement of voting 6:00 am
June 15 – completion of voting 6:00 pm
June 17 – results communicated to the membership
July 1 – new board members begin their term

Vote security
Each CIHRA member has been assigned a unique voter ID to promote anonymity and one person/one vote. Your CIHRA voter ID will be needed to exercise your vote. Voter IDs were emailed to you Thursday, May 20 from cihraelections@gmail.com. You may need to unblock that address from your email client. If you have any questions, please contact Brent at cihraelections@gmail.com or any CIHRA Board member.

This is the time of year for CIHRA elections.

There are four offices open for the year July 1, 2021, to June 30, 2022:  Second Vice President (open), Secretary (Andrew O’Donnell), and two Member-at-Large (Jamie Alary and Derek Vandenberg) positions. The Second Vice President office is a four-year term moving in succession to First Vice President, President and Past President. Secretary and the Member-at-Large positions are two-year terms. The nomination period begins on May 21 and will close on May 28 at 6:00 pm. Any current member having a minimum of twenty-one (21) years of age may be nominated by another current member of CIHRA for the offices open for election. You may nominate yourself. CIHRA members will receive further instructions on making nominations in the following week. All nominations must be submitted by the close of the nomination period (6:00 pm Monday, May 28). Celebrating Gary "Senior" Pedigo with a round of golf, some drinks and a good time

Come out and celebrate the life and legacy of Gary "Senior" Pedigo. We all loved him and miss him. His smile and laugh were infectious. So let's celebrate the good times and memories at the course he loved to play. This year's golf tournament will be held on Friday, July 23, 2021 at Walnut Creek Golf Preserve located 10555 Westmoor Dr, Westminster, CO 80021. The shotgun start time will be at 8:30 am. The format will be a 4 person scramble. Check-in/Warm-up will be 7:00 am - 8:15 am. Registration will close at 5pm on July 16, 2021. Register

Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment OK's CAHA Hockey return to play immediately

CAHA has been working with the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) over the past several weeks.  We are very pleased to announce that CAHA has affirmed and signed off on new CDPHE guidelines that will permit all CAHA sanctioned activities to resume immediately including full practices and competition. All CAHA members are expected to continue comply with all health guidelines from the CDC, CDPHE, CAHA and local health departments. If you have questions regarding resumption in play, please contact your local Hockey Director for further guidance.
