Volunteers needed at National Championship tournament

The Colorado Amateur Hockey Association (CAHA) was awarded the 2021 Chipotle USA Hockey Girls National Tournament to be held at Family Sports Ice Arena, The South Suburban Sports Complex and The Edge Ice Arena. This tournament, which was moved to Colorado from California, due to California’s covid situation, will be held from April 29-May 3, 2021. CAHA is looking for member associations to volunteer at various rinks to make this tournament a success. We are soliciting interest from the CPHL and the HPHL to assist in this tournament.  Please let me know if your team has any interest in working this tournament and I will provide available days and times.  We are looking for assistance at the South Suburban Sports Complex and Family Sports Ice Arena.  Ideally, we would like clubs to volunteer for four-hour blocks. Dawg Nation Hockey - Time to Give Back

As many of you know Dawg Nation is an awesome group and is run by Marty "Cappy" Richardson.  Dawg Nation is a charitable group that supports the hockey community in Colorado by raising money and donating to those experiencing injury, illness, or grief.  Referees have benefited greatly from donations by Dawg Nation.  The Gary Pedigo family, Jon Rausch, and Dan Hohenstein are a few examples from the referee community who have benefitted and you can see the generous donation amounts, plus other terrific stories, on the website.  Dawg Nation is also a huge supporter of our sled (disabled) hockey community. Marty Richardson's brother, Nigel Richardson, is a hockey player and major contributor to Dawg Nation.  Recently, Nigel had several heart attacks before having emergency heart transplant surgery and obviously has a long recovery ahead.  The medical costs for this are very high.
